Many people think of God as a jolly old Santa Clause who may disapprove of our actions but won’t give us a “lump of coal” or judge us for our sins.
The Truth is, God is the God of love and judgment. Because of God’s love for us, Jesus took the judgment for sin on Himself when He died on the cross. Jesus paid the price for the penalty of sin.
The gift of salvation is ours to accept or reject.
To reject God’s free gift offer has consequences.
